Meditation in Schools

Many schools are becoming wise to the benefits of mindfulness and meditation in classrooms. It lowers stress levels, aids concentration, increases general happiness and co operation and gives students increased choice over their actions.

Mindfulness training is for anyone, non religious, or of any religion.

Mindfulness and meditation have their roots in many different traditions. The universal principals of introspection, stillness and compassion fit with and within any or no tradition.

Dechen is a meditation teacher and trainee primary teacher who has worked with a number of classes and teachers to bring these benefits to schools at a low price for the benefit of as many people as possible.

Dechen teaches individual classes mindfulness meditation,  kindness values and gratitude practices. She is available to  implement a school wide programme and train staff in mindfulness practices that can be sustained and integrated on an ongoing basis.

The best and most beautiful things in the world  cannot be seen or even touched -They must be felt with the heart.
